Although Version 1.5 hasn’t quite arrived yet, a new beta test for Genshin Impact?Version 1.6 is starting soon. A version of the beta will be held in English, and anyone selected for it will get a chance to see some of the new content a bit earlier than everyone else. Here’s how and where to sign up for the 1.6 beta.
Details for the 1.6 content are pretty scarce right now, so fans eager to see something new may want to sign up. The chances of being selected are fairly low, of course, and not everyone will be chosen to participate. The Genshin Impact 1.5 beta was held last month, and despite users having to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), a lot of content for 1.5 was leaked online. So, even if fans aren’t selected to participate, there’s a good chance Version 1.6 leaks will surface at some point during and after the beta.

Since the 1.5 beta, a number of characters and new features have leaked for Genshin Impact 1.5. This includes the long-awaited housing system, allegedly called Homeworld, as well as new quests, Artifacts, and weapons. New playable characters like Eula are also heavily rumored for the 1.5 content, although miHoYo – the studio behind Genshin Impact – hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet.
People can sign up for the Genshin Impact 1.6 beta test in one of two ways. Fans can join by going to the game’s official Discord server, going to the Announcements section, and then signing up there. The second way to sign up for the 1.6 beta is by filling out this Google Doc form, and answering questions about a player’s age, region, Adventure Rank, and more.
It should also be noted that no matter how fans sign up, they will need a Discord username, an ID from miHoYo’s HoYoLAB fan forums, and other account info. Users will also be required to answer whether or not they’re willing to sign an NDA before joining the beta. This is for legal reasons, and to curb new Genshin Impact leaks. With so many details regarding Version 1.6 being unknown right now, the idea of seeing some of the content early is pretty exciting.
For fans wanting to see the Version 1.6 content before it releases, Genshin Impact’s 1.6 beta test is a great way to see the content ahead of time. Although the chances of being chosen are pretty slim, all fans need to do is fill out the necessary forms and link their accounts in order to register for the upcoming Genshin Impact 1.6 beta, and it doesn’t take a lot of time or effort to do so.
